SOAR! ACTIVITIES SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
For the past 16 years, SOAR’s primary concern has been the health and welfare of each and every participant, caregiver and staff member. Obviously these concerns have been exacerbated due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation.
As you may also be aware, COVID-19 affects SOAR! to a greater extent because we conduct many “large group” activities and, many of us have underlying health conditions which require even more caution. For those reasons, we have suspended all SOAR! activities until further notice.
In order to determine when SOAR! activities will be reopened, we will continue to monitor the guidelines and directives from both the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and, the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilties (Cuyahoga DD). Once we have definitive guidance as to the appropriate procedures necessary to protect everyone’s safety, (and we are able to implement those safeguards) we will re-open SOAR! activities.
In the meantime, stay safe, healthy and positive…..we hope to see you soon!
